Registrar of Vital Statistics. Image Group Number: 007616164. This records lists Hiram B. Crosby, lawyer, as the father and Mary Scott Crosby as the mother. I believe she must have died young as I cannot find any further mention of her, e.g. she does not appear in the 1870 Census with her mother and brother. I have not, however, found a death record or a cemetery gravestone/memorial for her.
